Community Guidelines

These rules apply to public content, profiles, messages, Flashes, projects, AI-assisted content, links, and behavior on GitSyn.

Respect and safety

Do not threaten, harass, bully, stalk, shame, discriminate, coordinate attacks, expose private information, encourage unwanted contact, or evade a block.

Child safety

GitSyn prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, trafficking, requests for sexual material from minors, and child sexual abuse material. Do not upload, link to, solicit, create, or distribute such material, including AI-generated or altered material.

We remove known prohibited material, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve information when legally required, and report to appropriate authorities or regional child-safety organizations when required. If a child faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Sexual exploitation and intimate content

Do not share non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sexual services, or content intended to facilitate abuse. GitSyn is not an adult-content service.

Violence, self-harm, and dangerous conduct

Do not make credible threats, promote violent extremist organizations, glorify severe violence, provide instructions intended to enable harm, or encourage suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. Supportive discussion and recovery content are allowed when handled responsibly.

Authenticity and integrity

Do not impersonate others, run deceptive accounts, manipulate engagement, coordinate fake activity, send repetitive unsolicited messages, scrape without permission, distribute malware, phish, or mislead people for money or credentials. Clearly label parody or fan accounts.

Do not deliberately distribute materially false or manipulated information likely to cause serious harm. Label synthetic or substantially altered media when it could be mistaken for authentic evidence. Use AI involvement labels honestly.

Rights and illegal activity

Share content you created or have permission to use. Respect copyright, trademark, project licenses, attribution, privacy, and publicity rights. Do not facilitate illegal activity, unauthorized access, trafficking, fraud, prohibited weapons, controlled substances, or unlawful regulated transactions.

Reporting, enforcement, and appeals

Use in-app reporting tools and include enough context for review. Block accounts when you do not want contact. For urgent child-safety concerns, email team@gitsyn.cc, info.gitsyn@gmail.com or dembaduk@gmail.com with the subject Child Safety; do not attach illegal imagery.

Depending on severity and history, GitSyn may warn, remove content, reduce distribution, restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account. Severe child exploitation, credible threats, or coordinated abuse may result in immediate action and reporting.
