Terms of Service
Effective date: September 28, 2026 Version: 2.0
These Terms govern your use of GitSyn. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, AI Transparency Policy, and applicable supplemental policies.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, and at least 16 where local law requires that age for consent to online services. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in account and device, and report unauthorized access. You may not sell, transfer, automate, or create accounts for deceptive or abusive purposes.
2. The Service
GitSyn provides profiles, publishing, projects, collaboration, discovery, messaging, Flashes, documents, media, and AI-assisted work. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. We may impose reasonable limits to protect availability, safety, and provider capacity.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You give GitSyn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, technically adapt, display, distribute, and make your content available only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service according to your audience settings. This license ends when content is deleted from active systems, except for reasonable backup periods, legal obligations, and copies shared by others.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share content. You are responsible for audience choices and licenses attached to projects. GitSyn does not automatically apply a Creative Commons license unless the creation flow clearly shows and you select it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use GitSyn to violate law or another person's rights; exploit or endanger children; create or distribute child sexual abuse material; threaten, harass, stalk, discriminate, or expose private information; share non-consensual intimate imagery; impersonate others; distribute malware, phishing, scams, or spam; manipulate engagement; scrape without permission; bypass limits or security; infringe intellectual property; or use Syn to perform unauthorized actions.
The Community Guidelines provide more detail and form part of these Terms.
5. Messaging and encryption
End-to-end encryption may be available for supported message content, but delivery metadata, participant information, reports, and content you choose to share with safety systems or AI tools may still be processed by GitSyn. Encryption does not make unlawful or abusive conduct acceptable.
6. Syn AI
Syn can produce incorrect, incomplete, biased, or unsafe output. Review results before relying on or publishing them. Do not use Syn as a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for prompts, tool approvals, edits, and published content. Rights in AI output depend on applicable law and provider terms; GitSyn does not promise output is unique, accurate, non-infringing, or copyrightable.
7. Moderation and enforcement
Zero tolerance. GitSyn has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report any post, comment, Flash, project, profile or message, and block anyone, from the item itself. We review reports promptly, aiming for within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these Terms and remove the accounts responsible.
We may investigate reports and remove content, reduce distribution, restrict features, preserve evidence, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the Service. Serious child-safety threats may be reported as required by law.
Appeal a moderation action by emailing team@gitsyn.cc, info.gitsyn@gmail.com or dembaduk@gmail.com with your username, the action, and why it should be reconsidered.
8. Third-party services and copyright
GitSyn integrates third-party identity, hosting, notification, monitoring, AI, and linked-content services. Their terms and privacy practices may apply. We respond to sufficiently detailed copyright notices and may terminate repeat infringers. See the Copyright Policy.
9. Termination
You may stop using GitSyn and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, serious risk, legal requirements, or prolonged operational necessity. Provisions that should survive termination remain effective.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, particular outcomes, or accurate user or AI content. Nothing excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, GitSyn and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss caused by users or third-party services. Aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid GitSyn in the preceding twelve months or USD 100, unless law requires otherwise.
11. General terms
Applicable law and courts with lawful jurisdiction govern disputes; these Terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service changes and will provide notice where required. Questions can be sent to team@gitsyn.cc, info.gitsyn@gmail.com or dembaduk@gmail.com.
