Copyright Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026 Version: 2.0
GitSyn may remove or restrict material that infringes copyright.
Copyright notice
Email team@gitsyn.cc, info.gitsyn@gmail.com or dembaduk@gmail.com with the subject Copyright Notice and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list for multiple works.
- Identification and location of the allegedly infringing material, preferably with each GitSyn URL, account, project, or post identifier.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Incomplete notices may delay review. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation may create legal liability.
Response and counter-notice
We may request information, remove material, notify the affected user, preserve records, or decline a notice that does not identify plausible infringement. Removal is not a ruling about ownership or fair use.
If removal was mistaken or the material was misidentified, email a Copyright Counter-Notice with your signature; identification and former location of the material; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief in mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; and consent to the jurisdiction and service of process required by applicable copyright law.
We may forward the counter-notice to the claimant. Restoration may occur after the applicable waiting period unless the claimant reports filing a court action.
GitSyn may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Report trademark, impersonation, privacy, and safety concerns through in-app reporting or the contact email with the relevant subject.
